Little kids are engraved to challenge the word no, often it is for their own safety but when you get older it is often the best discoveries that come from pushing the boundaries. For instance, crafting, some of the best projects are made when you “break the rules” so of course today we are going to do just that. After purchasing some faux suede I realized that it really is only compatible with simple cut projects but I had other hopes so instead of throwing it to the back of the closet for a someday project I decided to ignore the recommendations and try it anyway.

Infusible Ink | Birthday Rex Project
While this is not a tutorial or an in depth update on my life I wanted to document this birthday project in a short clip. Although this is not the first time I’ve used Infusible Ink it was merely the second and first time ever coloring it in. My first experience was purely an outline design.

The anxiety is still in the air to make these next steps and if you are a part of the worry wart club. Welcome, here are a few tools to reduce these feelings plus there pretty fun even if you’re not stressed too. All of these tools work by altering your chain of thought in various ways such as texture, pressure and aroma.
My First Time | Tutu Edition
Ever since I was little I have been obsessed with ballet. No, I was not a tiny tot in barre classes, in fact my first ballet class wasn’t until college. Once my fiancé gave me Bob (little hippo) I knew he needed a tutu so after watching some tutorial I decided to give it a try. While this technically is not the first tutu I’ve made, it is the first time using this method and on my own. The only other tutu I made was assisting my mom by pulling thread to create endless gathers for a Disneyland run with friends, we vowed never again.
How to: Sell your Old Clothes
Did you know the average person only utilizes twenty percent of their closet? Take a moment to analyze your own closet, how many pieces have been pushed to the deep dark crevices in your closet? Are there items you purchased but never actually wore apart from trying them on once? Unfortunately, there are a few of mine which I did not feel confident in but kept with the intention that one day I would. It’s a trap for some and a good motivator for others. Wherever you fall on the spectrum, I’m sure there are a few items laying around that you are willing to get rid of so why not sell them to regain a portion of your money back. I used to think the only people that were successful selling their used clothes were those who had a large following online but honestly there is a buyer out there for everything.
Brother PE550D Embroidery Machine Tutorial
Interested or recently purchased the Brother PE550D embroidery machine? After purchasing the machine I did as most people do, went to Youtube to teach myself the basics. While yes, there were a few videos available they lacked the teaching aspect; it was more of watch me embroider this item kind of “tutorials”. I crave the basics whenever I try anything new which includes how to thread the machine and most importantly what the heck all the buttons do. Although anyone can read the instruction Manuel to gain this information some people like myself prefer to see it in action as well for a quick reference or simply for a visual. Also let’s be honest, not everyone reads the instruction booklets.

Unboxing Brother PE550D + New Brothread
This one has been a long time coming and I could not be more excited to share this new journey with you all. Branching into a new form of art is always a learning curve so it is expected that it will come with mass frustrations alongside joy. First I want to address the mass inflation that has been happening in the crafting world, since people are still jumping onto the hands on art of creating, companies are fluctuating prices so make sure to do some research if you too are looking to start a new craft.
Home | The End of a Season
Although it has been a couple of weeks it still seems so surreal that we moved. People keep asking how I feel about all the changes, I’m happy but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t miss it too. Funny isn’t it, how one moment can feel like forever and once it is over it’s as if it happened in a blink of an eye. No, it was not an easy decision or journey by far, there were a lot of challenges and things we never anticipated that arose as well.
Organize with me
Organizing is one of my favorite things which may seem weird but it’s true. Every time I saw an acrylic case I always thought it was too expensive or too impractical until now. Let me explain the impractical side first; when it comes to acrylic it can easily scratch and always needs to be tidy if it is clear. Perhaps not always but for myself it honestly needs to have a system rather than just throwing items into drawers as it becomes a decor piece for the room it sits in. Once I was fed up with the way I was storing my items I decided it was time to try out the acrylic case, use up more vertical space and stop with the endless display of bags and boxes.

Although I’ve already discussed this brand over a year ago, after receiving multiple comments I thought is was time to revisit an issue many people have been having. In addition I also created a second post regarding the main issue people had been having which is the bottles cracking and breaking entirely.
