Staying creative is more of a release that I need in order to function, at least that is how it feels. For my first major sewing project since graduation I wanted to make something fun. From university I have collected a small array of material, which included this fun glow in the dark monsters print. Yes, I did use a pattern to ease back in, if you would like to know the exact number let me know.
Before we dive into the actual snacks I want clarify my standards when it comes to defining a healthy snack verses a non-healthy one. First and foremost, it must have REAL ingredients and be in nonlinguistic terms. In other words, I should be able to read the ingredients list without feeling as if I am at a national spelling bee. Companies use complicated verbiage to confuse you. Did you know there are more than three terms used to identify regular sugar on a standard ingredient list? If you cannot read the ingredients, yes you can google them, however, you should not have to.
Previously we discussed in an earlier post that trends are not the be all end all in fashion. If you happen to love a trend try it. On the flip side if you hate it you do not have to wear it just to be fashionable. Fitting in goes against fashion as it should be a unique personal thing that varies from person to person. Your style gives people a personal glimpse of your personality, likes and dislikes without even uttering a word to them. Trends are simply to inspire creativity in fashion and usually they are on a wide scope so it is unlikely someone would adapt all of the season’s trends.

Simply put yes, it absolutely does. Similar to certain food products makeup has a sell by date rather than a strict expiration date. No, there are no rules or regulations that require beauty brands to place a physical deadline on their products. The reason why is simply the start date is determined whenever you first open it and place it on your face.
While they could place a small disclaimer saying the recommended expiration time frame, like some natural juice companies that say best if used in 7 days after opening, they don’t. There are other factors to consider which may be why: If you put on your mascara to make yourself feel more alive than you do on the inside, you probably shouldn’t put it back on your face again. The basic use by standards are placed below that scientists recommend due to the rate of bacteria growth on the products. In other words, your makeup could be making you sick.
Recently Express teamed up with Olivia Culpo to create this amazing collection centered around girl power. Truth moment, I had never heard of Olivia prior to seeing her pictures from this campaign. I gravitated toward this set with the intentions to use it in both my personal and professional wardrobe. Your girl likes a good sale but I have realized with fashion I gravitate towards quality pieces that cost more but that I will also use more.

The first background I ever used for instance was a piece of scrapbook paper, before upgrading to an old white sheet. Now I use an actual legit background where I no longer have to use two different sheets to cover the surface area I am photographing. In the chilly California winter months I find myself more often than not reaching for a beanie. On these days I do not want to fuss with my hair or have that lingering burnt smell of fried hair. Years past I would constantly iron my hair and it was honestly so irritating how people reacted that it was so “beautiful”. Recently I started taking more pride in my natural roots so all of these hairstyles are basic, fast and all natural.
Before jumping into this lovey dovey post there are a few things I would like to address. Firstly my sincere apologies for missing Wednesday’s post day.
