To start off my birthday the night before I received my favorite type of flowers, an edible arrangement! Yes, I do not fancy flowers in the slightest, they are nice but they just sit there and die…
After some yummy breakfast, I curled my hair, placed my tiara and headed down to MAC cosmetics for my makeup appointment. This was my first ever MAC experience aside from trying their lipstick. If you want to be a princess for a day or feel fancy I highly recommend calling ahead to make an appointment. It will set you back about $60 for the full faced experience, however, this money goes toward any purchase in the store. In other words the experience itself is free. The experience lasted a little over an hour and included a full face of makeup. They do false eyelashes if you are looking for a full glam look, however, I opted out of that as I am still on the fence with falsies.
Here is the completed look up close, there was no smudging, no smearing or fading. I was pleasantly pleased with the products too.
Next on the agenda was lunch, cookies (yeah, prefer cookies not cake), and presents. We had Applebees for lunch and received a free dessert. By wearing a birthday button or tiara you will not need to say it is your birthday rather people will know. Many restaurants do a free dessert when it is your birthday without signing up for anything. Back at the mall, workers promoted me to sign up in store at Sephora for a free birthday gift. I was also offered a gift simply walking by Lolli and pop if I signed up that day but opted out. If you would like me to do a post on birthday freebies let me know.
While my best friend ended up having to stay late at work we still were able to splurge on some Panda Express ha. Who else loves the seasonal honey sesame chicken? Then we relaxed for a bit with some Mario Kart.
The weekend of my birthday, we travelled to the coast for some family stuff where we stayed for a couple of days. One day Jess came up after work so the next morning we could adventure the zoo. It was a lot cooler than we are used to back up, hints the jackets and boots.
I enjoy traveling to various zoos to admire the wildlife and cities they dwell in. So far we have travelled together to more than six different ones. You’re never to old to create memories so laugh along the way, climb on things, make funny faces and enjoy the moment.

What is your favorite wild life land animal?
Mine are all types of bears, so far I have seen grizzly bears, polar bears, black bears, sun bears and red panda bears. They are magnificent from afar of course. ha.
