This week I wanted to test myself mentally and I encourage you to do the same if you have been in a slump as well. There is no right or wrong way to do this either, so tweak it as much as you need to. My test was to set two goals and see how I would respond to them knowing that I was making myself accountable by thus throwing the data on the internet. If this is too drastic tell a friend daily or have a weekly log in instead. This is to motivate you as well as myself. I also have provided some resources to check out if your goals are similar to mine.
A lot has changed in the past couple of months, including moving out for the first time. Needless to say it has been a little stressful at times. Now that I feel somewhat settled I thought it was time to update you all on why I dropped off the internet for a month.
Recently, I have been obsessed with shopping the clothing section at Costco. The deals are unbelievable but what about the quality overall? Whenever you shop no matter what the price tag says, there are a few things to check to make sure the tag matches the item’s quality worth. The type of material, origin it was made in, stitching and dying process all contribute to the actual garment’s quality rather than just paying for the brand itself.
For a while now I have been keeping an eye out on a couple of brands that I have yet to experience myself. After watching a couple of review videos online for the brand Gym Shark, it seemed to be a bad idea to try as most of them harped on the fact that most of their items were not squat proof and were prone to camel toe. Two qualities no one wants from their apparel, especially their active wear. Now that the company has been around for a couple years I was hoping that things would improve which is why I decided to give them a shot.
Included at the bottom is of course an in depth review of each item in “real time”, kind of.
The reason this was not a try on haul was mainly due to the fact that pieces did not fit or were too see through to show.

As what is one item you recently added to your collection or are hoping to purchase for this new season?
The holidays and celebratory moments are all about family. One of our traditions includes playing games since I was little for the holidays. Our favorite game has to be phase 10 but never has the whole family participated in it. Often while playing cards the rest of the group will watch a movie, some will play video games and others play on their phone.
First and foremost I would like to apologize for missing last Saturday’s post day. I scheduled to post a youtube video on my top packing tips but it seemed too blah. Anyway let’s talk about anxiety.
A few months ago I received an opportunity which I would normally say no to. Tired of saying no, I said yes. It was a trip to Nevada with my best friend for his work. Prior to the trip I had planned to vlog the experience but it didn’t work out, sorry loves. The camera was fogging up due to the snow fall, it was a whole thing. Life is full of trial and error my friends.
While I am not a summer person, the best part of this time of year is back to school season. I love stationery, organizing and planing. This is the one time a year where supplies are at their lowest price with all the crazy back to school sales. Not to mention it is when supplies get a facelift from the usual dull office supplies section. Why is that?
Summer is one of those seasons when I want to break out those squeaky clean white on white shoes. Then the little voice in the back of my mind goes through a checklist of the day’s activities to protect the innocence of those beautiful white sexy chucks. The wet grass, dust, dirt, the possibility of someone spilling something on them.
This weeks has been hectic as most finals weeks are. Although, this is my very last day of the semester, it feels surreal. No more tests, quizzes or group project slackers. It’s crazy to think that it’s over.
