Throughout my Cricut journey I have learned a lot about well… what not to do. Master these top ten tips to start crafting like a pro without the pent up frustrations. Whenever I am looking for tips I usually have a particular goal I am researching so I thought it would be helpful to list out all of them for you rather than leaving it a surprise.
During the holidays, I received a Cricut Explore Air 2, which still seems surreal. As a craft lover I thought it would be the perfect addition to bring me to the next level of crafting in 2020. Before I even knew I had one, I would watch endless playlists of Cricut tutorials, Cricut tips, and all of those time trap ones that keep you hooked, thinking the entire time how did they do that. Plus, they all make it look so easy so of course naturally I thought once I get mine it’ll be just as simple.

Yes, you can buy fancy linens or official unpaper towels from Etsy shop owners and alike cites, however, they can be pricey. For a fraction of the cost you can create your own before the online shops would be able to ship theirs to you, they are that easy to make.

Then you get there and realize all the negatives that align with them such as figuring out how to afford all the paint.ha. I’ve learned a lot in a short window of time but budgeting has always been a part of me, it’s fun. A game you cannot afford to lose, quite literally.
Eco friendly products have been around for a while and still I have yet to try any. Similar to other popular items, there always seems to be a settle label “tax”. For instance, items that never had any gluten are suddenly sporting a gluten free sticker and a shiny new price tag. Yes, I’m going to be completely stereotypical for this Father’s Day D.I.Y. only because this is something mine would actually use. No matter if you make this for dad or for yourself, it is very affordable. I came across this idea when I was searching for a tool roll store after store and kept coming out empty handed.
Trends in swimwear go across the board from expensive to cheaper alternatives. When clothing is more expensive it does not mean that it is higher quality. Some of these dups are better then their counter parts so keep that in mind when shopping this season.
One of my favorite trends this year is this two part swimsuit or bikini suspenders? Its unique flare adds something extra to this season’s selection. I would much rather add the yellow set to my collection. Plus it is not really two parts, it just looks that way. The lines are horizontal but since they vary in size it still has a sliming effect. In addition the color’s contrast which is a fun effect. On the right side the diamond swimsuit is cool but lacks vibrancy and a shape aid.

I’ll admit it has definitely been awhile since I was consistently working out. Yes, I know fitness is important which is why I am making more of an effort to make it a priority rather than the last thing on the daily to do list. The first background I ever used for instance was a piece of scrapbook paper, before upgrading to an old white sheet. Now I use an actual legit background where I no longer have to use two different sheets to cover the surface area I am photographing.
