How to | Organize Cricut Craft Supplies

A cluttered space is a stressful space especially when it comes to the craft room. When there isn’t an organizational system in place it can be frustrating and take up valuable crafting time. It may even cause you to double buy since you cannot find it, thus it is costing you money as well to have a cluttered craft area. For those who are lucky enough to have an entire craft room,  it may be easier to keep clean or easier to gravitate towards a massive collection. Whether your space is big or small these tips can be utilized.

Cricut Material & Tech | Unboxing

After weeks of debate I have decided to share my Cricut unboxing with you all. Why did it take so long to decide? Well to be I forgot my camera when I went to film at my moms house, where the package was delivered, and I am not very pleased with the quality. That being said the content is fun for a short video, it is mostly the fish lens from improvising with a GoPro that bugs me so I hope you enjoy it anyway. Plus, there are a few things I wanted to say about my experience purchasing from cricut.com too.

Crutch Pads DIY| Beginner Sewing

Similar to previous d.i.y. projects this one was inspired by pure practicality. Before diving in let me first tell you how I got myself into this lovely situation. There is no proper satisfying story you know the ones where someone does something epically stupid. I simply walked right into this one, literally. That early morning the alarm demands attention, just a quick stretch right? Ehh… I fell asleep in childs pose which caused both my feet to go completely nomb not the regular pins and needle numb, the my feet feel like bricks of giant blubber numb. It is a weird feeling for those who have not had the pleasure first hand. Walk it off right…? WRONG. I made it maybe three steps before stepping on my toes, yes, my toes, with the same foot. This caused me to obviously twist my ankle in and something popped initially it was painful but I thought surely, I had just rolled my ankle.

Cricut Baby Onesie Design Ideas

Purchasing a Cricut has opened my crafty possibilities to things that were not necessarily possible before so… when it was announced that two of my friends were expecting this summer it was time to step out of my comfort zone and try iron on for the first time. This post is not to say that I am somehow an expert now, however, I do want to share some tips. Surprisingly it was pretty easy to use the Cricut iron on vinyl, that being said I do recommend that you print out the heat guide to reference easily. Some of the designs I tried used different types/colors of vinyl which can be tricky. In order to prevent uneven heat issues press all of them at the same time. Often this can be overlooked but whenever you are giving someone a handcrafted gift do not forget to provide the care instructions to increase the longevity of the item.

Throw Pillow DIY | Beginner Sewing Project

Decorative pillows are fun but they can get boring after a while, especially if they are seasonally themed. While you may think that simply flipping the pillow over to the plain side will suffice for the off season it really doesn’t. Instead of filling the hallway closet with pillows for every occasion try making your own pillow cases to fit over a seasonal or plain old throw pillow.

Dollar Tree Craft Supplies

Picking up a new hobby can be frustrating on not only you but your wallet too. I’ve always been the type to love finding deals in the craft lane as well as throughout daily life. As a fellow crafter, I thought it was time to share with you all some of my tips on saving big while crafting without falling prey to the cheap knock offs.

Dollar Tree can be a craft safe haven if you know what to look for and what to skip out on. For instance, a couple of weeks ago I was bubbly over finding some generic embroidery floss, however, it was extremely poor quality and kept breaking off. It was worth trying because now I know it is not a craft supply to skimp out on.

Finding Relaxation During Lockdown

While the world seemed to be on the edge of coming around to somewhat of a new “normal” the brakes have screeched yet again. Could it be time to accept that this is the norm now, wearing masks and getting dirty looks whenever choking in public? Please tell me I’m not the only one who has noticed this happening or had it happen to yourself. Needless to say the stressful times are far from over.

Face Masks | Info & Tutorials

It’s an usual post day, however, I am feeling a bit fuzzy about what to post these days. To be honest my schedule has shifted a lot and I’m sure many of yours has as well. I never thought my work would be considered essential but yes I have been working throughout all the craziness. Man oh 0man do I have stories for you guys… perhaps once the dust settles I will post a video of all the things that have happened lately while at work. Let me know in the comments if you are interested in some work stories from this pandemic season.

Anyway, I wanted to share with you all about mask making because I am now wearing masks daily to work as rules and regulations require it. As regulatons keep evolving in some places you might have to wear a mask so here are some tips on how to equip yourself. Before diving in, a quick disclaimer, I am not a doctor just a fellow fashionista.

What materials are good for mask making?

Paint with Me | Natural Bliss

Throughout this project/ piece of art, life has drastically turned, which is crazy to think about. When I first started this project, we were not on lockdown and people were not going crazier than normal. Let’s be honest, people were crazy before, there just weren’t as many people as there currently are. No, I am not going to be talking about my opinion on any of the issues that are consuming what we used to call the “normal” day to day. Just a quick side note to respect each other in terms of space and tongue. If you cannot spread anything positive do not say anything.
