Yep, it’s already come full circle and it is time for yet the grandest most extra Hallmark holiday, Valentine’s Day. Don’t have a Valentine’s date, well make a galantine’s for you’re bestie. This particular d.i.y. was made specifically for my sister rather than my significant other. Valentine’s Day has always been a sister holiday for us. When I saw this file on Makers Gonna Learn I thought it was perfect for a conversation heart gift box. You know the iconic chalk candy that everyone buys but no one really enjoys. Let me know if you also feel the same way about conversation hearts in the comments down below.

Mic Review & Comparison | Tzumi
Sound can be a make it or break it issue for a lot of avenues which is why I am reviewing an external microphone. There is no bigger let down than watching back a video with a mysterious buzzing sound or someone sneezing in the distance. On the mark there are thousands of external microphones to choose from so here are some things to look for while browsing.
Brookstone Ring Light | Unboxing & Review
Happy new year! To kick off this year I have decided to do a two part review on two different products that I am testing out for filming equipment. This week’s is for the ever famous ring light. Ring lights can be very expensive which is what has set me back from adding one to my gear. However, if you switch over to looking at ring lights specifically made for phones they are a bit cheaper. The features I was looking for were a bluetooth remote, brightness settings (the ability to dim), a flexible height range and under fifty dollars. After a bit of searching I found the Brookstone 10” Bluetooth shutter Ring Light. It retails for $59.99 but was on sale for $29.97 when I purchased it. Prior to the light arriving at my doorstep my sister purchased one from Home Goods for around ten dollars so of course I was intrigued to see what the major differences would be.

Decorate with me | Tiny House Edition
We are in the countdown to Christmas and it seems like time is flying this season. While things are definitely different at least this season tends to make things seem a little better as we settle into baking and decorating the house. The plan was to be out of the tree house before this Christmas but things change so… another tiny house Christmas! Here are some of my top tips for decorating a small space for the holidays.
Card Stash Basics
Who else has a love hate relationship with the rain? I love it when I’m inside but dread it when I am driving or walking in it. Today is one of those days; the wind is howling, sky is roaring and the rain is pouring. While I sip on some cocoa it is relaxing to gaze out the window and take in the trees knowing that in a few short weeks the mass holidays will take place. It’s a time of mourning which I try not to focus on but it is okay to be sad at the fact that this year will undoubtedly be very different. Knowing that loved ones should stay away is a difficult thing to swallow.
Trying new Things | Mr. Chonk
Holiday season is finally upon us! Who else is already watching Christmas movies, making holiday crafts and baking? The weather is finally corresponding to the time of year as well which is a relief. It’s the best time for trying new things and that is why I want to talk about this little guy, or should I say this Chonky boy. Hehe For my first every crochet project where I followed a pattern I learned a lot about not only crochet but also about myself. I am one of those people who feels as if they’ve failed if I do not achieve perfection even if it is the first time I am trying something. This project taught me how to keep going even when things do not look bright. Here is a look into my first attempt at Chonky… yeah he looks more like a fruit basket that sits on the table at Thanksgiving. Before you make assumptions this was not supposed to be his tail… it was for his head/body.

Bear Face Mask Tutorial | Cricut
Halloween is a time of creative freedom but this year is a little well very different. Same may say it is making this time grim, however, I challenge you to try to see a different perspective. For instance, wearing a face mask can add to your costume rather than hinder it. In past years you’d paint your face, this year all you need to do is decorate a mask saving time and well the itchiness from paint on your face. On another note for obvious reasons most workplaces prohibit employees from coming to work with a painted face or full covered mask. A face mask opens up the possibilities for me this year which is why I decided to create this d.i.y. specifically. Not going to work? Well wear it out for errands or around the house to spark a little joy to those around you and yourself. Below is the full tutorial for part one of the bear costume tutorial, the mask along with written instructions.

Lost for words, where to begin and more importantly is there an end. As we are living through what will soon be written in the history books of future generations it can feel as if we are in a stand still. I refuse to believe that this time is a halt in progress. Yes, it can be lonely at times as we are away from loved ones to keep them safe. Yes, those who have taken advantage can blur the lines and darken an already stormy day. Frankly it is disgusting so why is the system built to their advantage? Why do we encourage thieves with repercussions being unwritten. You can only blame your upbringing for so much so I refuse to believe that our parents are the ones to blame for the story their descendants decide to write. What kind of story are you painting during this uncertain time? Will you focus on the way the stars sparkle and light up the darkness or will you allow it to consume you at the core. No matter how this year has started everyday is a day to change how your story will be written so remember even if today’s page is dark and grey there is a new one to flip to in the morning. It is perfectly okay to be not okay, everyone paints a smile from time to time. Remember you do not need to be alone either, if you open your eyes and allow them, those who love you are waiting to lift you up.

ATG Scotch 3M & Tombow Glue Pen | REVIEW
Creating is one of my passions so whenever I find out about a gadget that will make things a little simpler I am always on edge to try it out for myself. Since I received my Cricut there has been nonstop talk about the ATG guns by Scotch. All the crafters I follow have been saying that it makes crafting a breeze and works like a champ with almost all medias. Once my adhesive squares had run out, yes the scrapbooking ones, I decided it was time to give the advanced tape glider (ATG) a chance. At first I was excited and anxious as it is way bigger to work with then little mounting squares and a lot more expensive in comparison. There is a thing called coupon courage and let me tell you this was one of those times and on the way to the counter I also saw a glue pen to try too. Since the ATG is a larger tool compared to what I was used to I thought the glue pen would help cover any smaller intricate details that the tape glider couldn’t cover with ease.
How to | Organize Cricut Craft Supplies
A cluttered space is a stressful space especially when it comes to the craft room. When there isn’t an organizational system in place it can be frustrating and take up valuable crafting time. It may even cause you to double buy since you cannot find it, thus it is costing you money as well to have a cluttered craft area. For those who are lucky enough to have an entire craft room, it may be easier to keep clean or easier to gravitate towards a massive collection. Whether your space is big or small these tips can be utilized.
