Yep, it’s already come full circle and it is time for yet the grandest most extra Hallmark holiday, Valentine’s Day. Don’t have a Valentine’s date, well make a galantine’s for you’re bestie. This particular d.i.y. was made specifically for my sister rather than my significant other. Valentine’s Day has always been a sister holiday for us. When I saw this file on Makers Gonna Learn I thought it was perfect for a conversation heart gift box. You know the iconic chalk candy that everyone buys but no one really enjoys. Let me know if you also feel the same way about conversation hearts in the comments down below.
Not sure what to place inside this type of box? Here are a few ideas: flowers accompanied with a note, their favorite sweet, a bath bomb, nail polish, jewelry, or even a new game they’ve had their eye on. Materials needed for this project include medium to heavy weight card-stock, paper grass, cricut machine (explore air or maker) and an adhesive. The main material you cannot skimp out of is card-stock, it needs to be a medium to heavy weight in order to withstand the weight of the contents inside it. Looking for box filler/ paper grass, but having no luck? Try making your own by either cutting out tiny strips of paper or running colored paper through your shredder.
