It’s that awkward time of the year where some days are chilly and the next day is blindingly sweaty and icky. These hot days have been wreaking havoc on my skin. Makeup should be catered to the season, in order to keep your skin in check which makes this time of year the worst.
A couple of days ago I purchased my tickets for the new avengers movie, Avengers: Infinity War. Who else is excited?! Here are some outfits inspired by some of my favorite characters from the movie. Items are linked below, this post is not sponsored. Let me know what your favorite look is and who is your favorite character?
Earth Day, is tomorrow so lets talk about sustainable fashion. As a fashionista, I crave to go explore new trends and to check in from time to time on what my favorite brands are new releases are. At university, they dedicate an entire semester to sustainability to teach us how to be sustainable in the industry. If you too are a fashionista, here are some ways you can be sustainable without boycotting fashion altogether.
Mermaids have surfaced in popularity, however, I have always been a fan of the shimmer, shine, and beauty in the waves. Once Tarte’s mermaid collection went live I knew I wanted to try out some of the products. After waiting for the package to arrive, I was shocked by how much I loved both products, eyelash curler with mascara and the eyeshadow palette.
While I am not attending the festival, Coachella, it is an inspiring time of the year for fashion. Here are some outfits on my wishlist to feel alongside the festival spirt, that are more wearable. The signature Coachella outfits are always creative and rather exposed. Yes, it will make people turn heads on the street but not necessarily in a good way. Comment down below what your favorite outfit or piece was.
Spring break is finally here and of course it came with a cold. To do a little self treat, I decided why not try something new, a clay mask to help me feel a little better. While this is my first clay mask to ever try, I will say it is more satisfying than any sheet mask I have tried. First, the smell is clean, the color is my favorite shade of blue, it cools the face and tightens as it dries. However, it only appears tight when moving your mouth. Simply putting it on my face was fun as the clay is cool to the touch, relax for 10 to 15 minutes and wash off with warm water on a wash cloth.
Transitioning into spring, excited for all the innovative spring lines hitting my inbox, searching for something fresh add to my wardrobe. In anticipation for spring cleaning, it is time to show some love to my classic staple pieces in my wardrobe that are continually being abused season after season. I love a good staple piece, especially since they never go out of style. As the seasons fade and trends change these items remain on top for any occasion.
This week was full of all kinds of emotions; excitement, anxiety, stress, disappointment, and fear. While this is my last semester of college figuring out what to wear was still a challenge. From the first semester of transferring to university from J.C. I was excited about the possibility to take ballet classes. However, these classes never fit into my schedule of required courses until this semester. Spring 2018 has been deemed the semester of new experiences.
Curly hair is a blessing and a curse all at the same time. Blow drying causes frizz and damage. Wet hair left down is annoying but regular hair ties end up soaked causing a moldy smell overtime. The Invisibobble sparked my interest as it is advertised as being waterproof. Perfect for swimming or pulling back hair after a shower.
