Classic Pieces

Transitioning into spring, excited for all the innovative spring lines hitting my inbox, searching for something fresh add to my wardrobe. In anticipation for spring cleaning, it is time to show some love to my classic staple pieces in my wardrobe that are continually being abused season after season. I love a good staple piece, especially since they never go out of style. As the seasons fade and trends change these items remain on top for any occasion.

The key is to add pieces to your wardrobe that are comfortable and timeless. My personal style gravitates towards black and grey tones but in order to have a classic piece they do not need to be these specific colors. That being said I would stray away from bright or seasonal colors that fall out of trend often. Denim trends change all the time so try to choose a good pair of jeans that are simple, comfortable with no rips, decorations or embroidery. A jacket that is light for rainy days is a good investment to make, especially during these unpredictable weather months. Converse are my go to for a cute effortless look. Chuck Taylor II provides more support for people who are flat footed yet still look like the classics.  Here are some of my go to classic pieces from my closet. Let me know down below what your favorite classic pieces are.
