Mermaids have surfaced in popularity, however, I have always been a fan of the shimmer, shine, and beauty in the waves. Once Tarte’s mermaid collection went live I knew I wanted to try out some of the products. After waiting for the package to arrive, I was shocked by how much I loved both products, eyelash curler with mascara and the eyeshadow palette.
As a twenty-three-year-old I am slightly embarrassed to admit that this was the first time I have ever really used an eyelash curler. Yes, I have tried one out but never was too fond of the outcome. After using the limited-edition picture-perfect eyelash curler & deluxe lights, camera, lashes mascara, I am in love with the curler. Not only is it cute, but it works well. Tarte also packages the curler with a backup pad to replace once it gets worn out. Now this mascara, light, camera, lashes has been on my list of things to try for a while now as I tend to have an issue with mascara causing my eyes to water. Although the mascara did not give me a negative reaction, I am not convinced that it is best mascara on the market.
Be a Mermaid & Make Waves eyeshadow palette by Tarte is amazing. Upon purchasing I knew this palette would either be a hit or a miss, as I had never tried out any of Tarte’s eyeshadows. I cannot rave enough about it. The colors are stunningly pigmented shades inspired by the ocean. Prior to this Anastasia had been the eyeshadow constantly in my reach, now this shell of a palette by Tarte has overthrown Anastasia’s eyeshadows in my eyes.
