The holiday season is finally here or should I say already here? ha. I feel as if these last couple of months have flown by. Thanksgiving is versatile as some people dress fancy and others keep it casual. After all we are all just sitting around at the kitchen table with the purpose of showing gratitude. Prior to skipping out with this purse I had never experienced the backpack purse. It was my twenty second birthday, my mom and boyfriend had taken me shopping where I found the prettiest fall booties. The sales lady asked if I would like to receive a purse at a discounted rate for purchasing the booties. That is when I laid my eyes on my new obsession, the backpack purse. A few weeks ago my beloved bag’s zipper broke. I placed it off to the side and thought it was time to move on.
Although I own a lot of dresses this one has been receiving the most love since I purchased it. California and fall sometimes go together well, this year it has been so dry. It is November and we still have yet to have a rainy day. Ugh! I love fall so I feel a little cheated. Since this dress has about two inch straps it is perfect for this odd weather, however, it can be layered in multiple ways if it ever gets to fall weather here.
If only the weather were actually cold and not in the high 80’s this jacket would be my daily, however, it is more of a nightly? ha. This red lil sassy jacket is by the brand KUT from the Kloth. It mocks the feel of suede but is vegan obviously. Let me just stop for a second to say it has REAL pockets. Yes, ladies real phone holding pockets that zip. I hate mock pockets, they are such a tease.
Above are the oldest boots in my collection, at about four years old. These tend to get a lot of love during the fall season, however, Carlos Santana boots do not wear out easily. Knee high boots are definitely a staple for fall, I recommend a semi loose classic brown or black color. The buckles on the side provide a unique touch making them give off a cowboy boot vibe.
Although fall is officially here, the weather has been dragging it’s feet in California. With climates bouncing between 80 and 90 down to sweatshirt lows. It’s not quite time to break out that sweater bin yet so here are some ways you can step into fall in the meantime.
