Button Up Fall Weekend – Lookbook

Day #1: The Hills

Let’s take a moment to soak in this view. Wish that this was my everyday view and that we could spend more moments away. It has been awhile since we have done anything, just the two of us besides a typical sit down dinner. We drove up to the hills for a day trip to explore, taste test and shop at small businesses.

Fallin for Her

My absolute favorite shirt of the season so far is this non traditional button up. Plaid is always in style for fall but this print appeals more on the dressy side. This one is by Abercrombie & Fitch, however, they do not sell this exact one anymore. Here is the shirt in a baby pink color.

For jeans try a simple pair without rips or patterns in a nice wash. The ones I am wearing are by Articles of Society, they are my favorite pair. If you saw my post on Wednesday you know these are my adventure boots by Steve Madden

Fallin for Him

Jess is wearing a more traditional red plaid shirt with black jeans and brown boots. Love this outfit for a fall day out simple and effortlessly stylish. He is sporting my Under Armor backpack since he was shooting some photos for me right before I snatched the camera. Pumpkin patches are such a fun place for not only pumpkin picking but for candids. ha.

Day #2: Alpaca Ranch

This was the first time I had come across the opportunity to be up close in a pin with alpacas. They were a bit more pushy for the treats we were feeding them then I predicted. Also a lot larger up close. ha. It was a bit of a drive but definitely worth it, they have alpaca days twice a year to raise awareness. For these events, multiple alpaca farms come together so there are a lot of alpacas, you can experience them through a fence or up close in their pen. The events are 100% free including parking and feeding them. You can purchase mini stuffed animals made of their fur and other products such as yarn, socks, soap etc. all made from the alpacas. I could not help but splurge on a mini alpaca stuffy, they are so cute! They have the softest hair of any animal. If you live in the U.S. click here to find an alpaca farm near you to visit.
