Face Masks | Info & Tutorials

It’s an usual post day, however, I am feeling a bit fuzzy about what to post these days. To be honest my schedule has shifted a lot and I’m sure many of yours has as well. I never thought my work would be considered essential but yes I have been working throughout all the craziness. Man oh 0man do I have stories for you guys… perhaps once the dust settles I will post a video of all the things that have happened lately while at work. Let me know in the comments if you are interested in some work stories from this pandemic season.

Anyway, I wanted to share with you all about mask making because I am now wearing masks daily to work as rules and regulations require it. As regulatons keep evolving in some places you might have to wear a mask so here are some tips on how to equip yourself. Before diving in, a quick disclaimer, I am not a doctor just a fellow fashionista.

What materials are good for mask making?

Figure out the key steps to transform any cut file into a piece of art.

Curly Hair Transformation | Easy & Affordable

Time to confess, my hair had not been cut in over eight months, which means it was only two months’ overdue right? How often do you cut your hair? For the last couple of years whenever I go for a haircut my intention is for more than a little trim. This time I did something I have never done before, a three-inch haircut with a natural hairstyling. Any other time I would have my hairdresser blow dry and straighten or even curl my naturally curly hair. As I am trying to embrace more of my natural roots I wanted to see what magic my hairdresser could do. For some reason she always amazes me with how well and fast she styles my hair.

3 Ways to Style | Olivia Culpo Collection

Recently Express teamed up with Olivia Culpo to create this amazing collection centered around girl power. Truth moment, I had never heard of Olivia prior to seeing her pictures from this campaign. I gravitated toward this set with the intentions to use it in  both my personal and professional wardrobe. Your girl likes a good sale but I have realized with fashion I gravitate towards quality pieces that cost more but that I will also use more.

Rainy Day Movie Line Up & Lookbook

The last couple of weeks it has been stormy out which means it is the perfect weather to curl up next to the fire, pop some popcorn, and watch the best movies. Instead of just listing my favorite movies, I thought it would be more fun to do a his and her movie list with a little cheeky look book.

DIY Gift Wrapping Ideas |Christmas

Christmas is right around the corner! It is time to wrap all those gifts stashed in the closet. If you have not finished your shopping already, get to it. ha. Every year I try to be a little more artsy with my wrapping. Normally I end up drawing on a couple of brown paper packages which is why this year I wanted to change it up.

Gift Guide | for Him

Christmas shopping is a fun time to treat your loved ones with something they truly want / need. If the men in your life are anything like the men in mine, they tend to believe saying they need nothing or do not care is helpful. It drives me mad. You have to listen carefully to figure out a slight hint as to what they may want. Let me help you out this year by giving you some of my go to gifts for men.

Ralph Breaks the Internet | Halloween Costumes

Since the first trailer came out for Ralph Breaks the Internet, I have been hooked and rather excited for it to come out in theaters. I’ve seen the trailer where Ralph feeds the bunny too many pancakes so many times! Comment down below if you laugh every time too. If you have not seen it yet here it is, you’re welcome.

DIY Mermaid Costume | Halloween

Still don’t have a costume picked out? Don’t worry,  here is yet another easy diy costume to inspire you! For those lovelies out there who love to go under the sea. ha. For real though, Ariel is my favorite princess but often has a trashy looking halloween costume. This is why I decided to do a more modest version for ya’ll.

Sass in Red | Fashion

If only the weather were actually cold and not in the high 80’s this jacket would be my daily, however, it is more of a nightly? ha. This red lil sassy jacket is by the brand KUT from the Kloth. It mocks the feel of suede but is vegan obviously. Let me just stop for a second to say it has REAL pockets. Yes, ladies real phone holding pockets that zip. I hate mock pockets, they are such a tease.
