Etsy Photo Error Fix & Opening a Shop

When it comes to the question what is my dream job it has always encompassed two things, fashion and creating which is why I finally took the plunge and opened up an Esty shop!!! No, I am not hoping for overnight success but the ultimate goal is earning enough to support myself and my family one day. I like the freedom creating gives me and to be honest I’ve always fancied what goes on the item rather than making the actual item from 100% scratch. It’s an amazing feeling knowing that someone is enjoying and creating memories in something you designed.

Custom Little Beasties, my shop, has been a long time in the works. After creating a couple of products, taking photos and editing them I started the final step of listing. Listing was fairly easy until I received that pesky little triangle that left me puzzled for days. I’m not sure if Etsy was updating or what happened but for the first couple of days it did not show the error prompt. So… I started trouble shooting by compressing photos, resizing photos and doing the classic YouTube research, all I found was that photos had to be a specific size (liars). I decided to log out and log back in and retry simply claiming that a glitch may have occurred. That is when the prompt finally appeared stating that the photos where not enough pixels wide. To see how I fixed this issue watch the step by step tutorial below. It is fairly easy, trust me.

Also in this week’s video is a first look into my shop Custom Little Beasties! My shop focuses primarily on baby products, however, if you ever see something you want in a larger size for yourself let me know. I have always told myself I will never be that company where people wish things came in their size to twin with their little one or just wear themselves. With that being said any shop item recommendations are always welcome too. Follow my shop Instagram @customlittlebeasties for previews on new listings as well as the opportunity to vote and pick what I make next.

XOXO Faith
