Since it has been awhile since my last style file or what I wore this week this seemed to be the perfect time. The weather around this neck of the woods in California has been a bit chilly with foggy rainy mornings and sunny afternoons. For a reference, it has been around 57-65 degrees Fahrenheit here. Considering the fact that it is required to wear closed toed shoes in the office I rarely wear heels unless they are boots. That being said I still uphold a semi relaxed formal attire. All of these looks include soft, warm yet breathable material to provide all day comfort.

Previously we discussed in an earlier post that trends are not the be all end all in fashion. If you happen to love a trend try it. On the flip side if you hate it you do not have to wear it just to be fashionable. Fitting in goes against fashion as it should be a unique personal thing that varies from person to person. Your style gives people a personal glimpse of your personality, likes and dislikes without even uttering a word to them. Trends are simply to inspire creativity in fashion and usually they are on a wide scope so it is unlikely someone would adapt all of the season’s trends.

Recently Express teamed up with Olivia Culpo to create this amazing collection centered around girl power. Truth moment, I had never heard of Olivia prior to seeing her pictures from this campaign. I gravitated toward this set with the intentions to use it in both my personal and professional wardrobe. Your girl likes a good sale but I have realized with fashion I gravitate towards quality pieces that cost more but that I will also use more.

Valentine Look Book | 2019
Pink and red everything hearts and candy galore. Who else is excited for all of the Hallmark holiday lovey dove movie specials? Valentine’s Day is such a versatile holiday depending on your mindset. At the store there are things for romantic relationships alongside Galentine’s day merchandise. Since I was little my sister, mom and I have exchanged valentines. This holiday should be more about love in all relationships. These looks pair well with various activities from the classic dinner date to a comfy movie date with the girls.
