Magazines, Pinterest, YouTube, and even the various people we cross paths with on the street spark inspiration for new trends, different styles and all things fashion. Recently, it has been brought to my attention that several famous youtubers and social media gurus spoke up about the fact that they buy items simply to use them as content. Fashion hauls are a huge part of this massive consumer issue of want, want, NEED. Titles such as “spending too much at Target” or “massive summer hauls” draw in a large crowd but why?
Recently, I have been obsessed with shopping the clothing section at Costco. The deals are unbelievable but what about the quality overall? Whenever you shop no matter what the price tag says, there are a few things to check to make sure the tag matches the item’s quality worth. The type of material, origin it was made in, stitching and dying process all contribute to the actual garment’s quality rather than just paying for the brand itself.
For a while now I have been keeping an eye out on a couple of brands that I have yet to experience myself. After watching a couple of review videos online for the brand Gym Shark, it seemed to be a bad idea to try as most of them harped on the fact that most of their items were not squat proof and were prone to camel toe. Two qualities no one wants from their apparel, especially their active wear. Now that the company has been around for a couple years I was hoping that things would improve which is why I decided to give them a shot.
Included at the bottom is of course an in depth review of each item in “real time”, kind of.
The reason this was not a try on haul was mainly due to the fact that pieces did not fit or were too see through to show.

As what is one item you recently added to your collection or are hoping to purchase for this new season?
When we were little we used to get Easter Baskets galore with large stuffed animals, you know the ones from Costco. It used to be so much fun to open them up, play with new toys and such in the afternoon after Easter Sunday service. As we (my sister and I) got older the less times people celebrated us or made us feel special. For the past couple of years my sister has taken on the role of the Easter bunny, filling up baskets for mom, dad, me and even herself. I guess at the end of the day no matter what your age, it is fun to open up a surprise package because it makes you feel special.
This guide is not geared toward children, however, they can work for any age group. These are some bits and peices that would be perfect for teens and adults for a little Easter treat. From beauty and health to treats and apparel. The first set includes various summer prep items such as hair ties, sunscreen, blister bandaids and lip balm. This section caters to everyone regardless of their hobbies. Next, there are some of my favorite healthy treats and some wishlist pieces. Of course each basket should be catered to the person’s personal interests. Other ideas include a new book, a movie or a tea glass. For your convenience prices and links to the items pictured are provided below each photo.

Who’s day will you brighten this season?
Half Smocked Semi Crop
Do the synched in waist for a fun detail this season, the wide shoulders in Luca’s version makes the waist appear even smaller with a girly country vibe. The Pac Sun version’s bring a more muted tone to the trend. For those that cannot deal with off the shoulder tops there is a cami option too. Overall a fun trend for everyone, including petite princesses. Style with either a skinny fitted bottom or even a loose flow one as the middle leaves room for exploration; the possibilities are endless.
If you are a true diva fashionista you check the tag prior to purchase to receive the full run down. One of the most important factors of course is the materials and care instructions. Does the dreaded word iron appear or not? While I attempt to stay away from fabrics that are prone to wrinkling, it seems as if there are always a couple of pieces that wrinkle up from time to time. If you are anything like me and dread dragging out the iron and ironing board, it is time to make a change.
The main reason I sought out a steamer was to press my “studio” background more efficiently. This little beauty is amazing yet so small. Simple to use and so much faster than dropping over the huge fabric and rotating it across a traditional ironing board. No more running late to work or ditching your favorite outfit due to some wrinkles. The Bizond heats up almost instantly and is ready to go. Feeling skeptical? I would be too which is why I want you to see it in real time for yourself, watch the video below.
Do you hate ironing?

It is no secret that I love the famous ninety year old mouse named Mickey. Since I have added a couple new Disney pieces to my wardrobe I thought why not do a Disney inspired lookbook. This post is not sponsored in any way, however, it is a dream of mine to one day partner with Disney style or Shop Disney.
Although it looks as if this is a regular bow it is the coolest edition to my bow collection by far. This beauty lights up with multiple settings! Unfortunately, this may be a Disney park exclusive as I have yet to see them in any Disney merch store or site. My sister found it on her last trip to Disneyland so lucky for me. The bow comes with the statement that it is not possible to replace the batteries which is a bit disappointing. Overall the price point of around $13.99 is incredible in my opinion even if it isn’t replaceable, it is an outstanding quality bow itself.
This look started with the bow then a tiara because she’s a princess. This blue patterned dress paired with the faux fur mickey sweater encompassed Cinderella perfectly. The Steamboat booties from Clarks help to tone down this look making it both work and play appropriate.
