Recently, I have been obsessed with shopping the clothing section at Costco. The deals are unbelievable but what about the quality overall? Whenever you shop no matter what the price tag says, there are a few things to check to make sure the tag matches the item’s quality worth. The type of material, origin it was made in, stitching and dying process all contribute to the actual garment’s quality rather than just paying for the brand itself.
Since it has been awhile since my last style file or what I wore this week this seemed to be the perfect time. The weather around this neck of the woods in California has been a bit chilly with foggy rainy mornings and sunny afternoons. For a reference, it has been around 57-65 degrees Fahrenheit here. Considering the fact that it is required to wear closed toed shoes in the office I rarely wear heels unless they are boots. That being said I still uphold a semi relaxed formal attire. All of these looks include soft, warm yet breathable material to provide all day comfort.
Previously we discussed in an earlier post that trends are not the be all end all in fashion. If you happen to love a trend try it. On the flip side if you hate it you do not have to wear it just to be fashionable. Fitting in goes against fashion as it should be a unique personal thing that varies from person to person. Your style gives people a personal glimpse of your personality, likes and dislikes without even uttering a word to them. Trends are simply to inspire creativity in fashion and usually they are on a wide scope so it is unlikely someone would adapt all of the season’s trends.

Over the last couple of years velcro shoes have been popping up in magazines being worn by Jessica Alba, Selena Gomez and Kendall Jenner to name a few. Spring 2018 the trend made its debut on the runways. I’ve been a bit skeptical about the trend, seeing them being sold across the board from $30 to $600.
A couple of days ago I purchased my tickets for the new avengers movie, Avengers: Infinity War. Who else is excited?! Here are some outfits inspired by some of my favorite characters from the movie. Earth Day, is tomorrow so lets talk about sustainable fashion. As a fashionista, I crave to go explore new trends and to check in from time to time on what my favorite brands are new releases are. At university, they dedicate an entire semester to sustainability to teach us how to be sustainable in the industry. If you too are a fashionista, here are some ways you can be sustainable without boycotting fashion altogether.
