We are in the countdown to Christmas and it seems like time is flying this season. While things are definitely different at least this season tends to make things seem a little better as we settle into baking and decorating the house. The plan was to be out of the tree house before this Christmas but things change so… another tiny house Christmas! Here are some of my top tips for decorating a small space for the holidays. Watch how I decorated the tiny house this year down below (the first video). To see how I decorated it last year watch the video on the very bottom.
Skip the bulky items.
Seek items that are thin or small to store away after the season.
Change little things like pillow shams and photos.
Lights, skip the traditional bulky ones go small.
Bows, are close to my heart every other day but they so easy to pack away too.
Christmas shopping is a fun time to treat your loved ones with something they truly want / need. If the men in your life are anything like the men in mine, they tend to believe saying they need nothing or do not care is helpful. It drives me mad. You have to listen carefully to figure out a slight hint as to what they may want. Let me help you out this year by giving you some of my go to gifts for men.
First and foremost I would like to apologize for missing last Saturday’s post day. I scheduled to post a youtube video on my top packing tips but it seemed too blah. Anyway let’s talk about anxiety.
A few months ago I received an opportunity which I would normally say no to. Tired of saying no, I said yes. It was a trip to Nevada with my best friend for his work. Prior to the trip I had planned to vlog the experience but it didn’t work out, sorry loves. The camera was fogging up due to the snow fall, it was a whole thing. Life is full of trial and error my friends.
Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, I know some people cringe to endure anything Christmas related prior to the day after Thanksgiving but hear me out. All your family and loved ones will be gathered together around the table spreading thankful thoughts. Why not show people how grateful you are for them by putting together a secret Santa questionnaire. This will make things easier for others and yourself since people will not be back together until Christmas.
