Back in high school I remember my favorite pair of pants button falling off through the mid school day. It was odd since the rivet on the jeans only popped off the top circle portion rather than the entire thing. After trying to press it back on, I scrambled to find anything to keep them closed until lunch when I could change. Eventually, my friend found a safety pin to temporarily fix the situation.
